The Assistive Technology Assessment Centre (ATAC), Disability Services at the University of Limerick will host number Assistive Technology training courses throughout this summer. The courses are intended for people with disabilities who use or want to use assistive technology to assist them with their education. These courses would also be beneficial to parents, teachers and other professionals interested in supporting people with disabilities.
There will be various training courses such as voice recognition, literacy support software and mind mapping software. There is also a training course on iPad and educational apps for use by students with dyslexia.
