What is the GPII Unified Listing?
The GPII Unified Listing is a centralised database that brings together data from 14 different databases across Europe, the US, and Australia from database vendors like EASTIN which is a network of organizations, disseminating information in AT and GARI a project to help consumers learn more about the accessibility features of mobile devices. It creates a single, merged resource of assistive technology (AT) solutions. It includes a wide range of products, from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to mainstream digital products with built-in accessibility features
Searching
Users can perform keyword searches, narrow results by product type, operating system, or by describing specific difficulties, making it easier to find the right solution. Alternatively, start with a product you already know, and then specify the important characteristics of that product to find similar products.
Users can access detailed product information, including manufacturer details and links to purchase or learn more about the products.
Support for the GPII Unified Listing
The Unified Listing is supported by an international consortium in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Raising the Floor – International whose vision is that everyone should have access to digital technologies
To ensure the database remains up-to-date and comprehensive community contributions are available from both manufacturers and community members to contribute information.
