It’s October, and that means AAC Awareness month. AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) is a means for those with communication difficulties to express themselves, assist with understanding and help with interactions.

ISAAC (International Society for Alternative and Augmentative Communication) has collated a number of events happening worldwide to celebrate AAC Awareness month, including the “CM Sessions”, a weekly online presentation from Communication Matters in the UK.
The ACE Centre is running a “31 Tips for 31 days” to promote communication strategies and ideas to ensure interactions are more satisfying for all.
