Foundations in AT Course 2023:
Enable Ireland’s Certified Foundations in Assistive Technology is a 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) course accredited by Technological University Dublin, through the College of Engineering and Built Environment. The course is delivered via 11 webinars. In total, the time commitment is 100 hours: 21 hours via webinars and 79 hours of self-directed learning which includes completion of your course project. 2023 course dates are as follows: 16, 21 & 28 Feb, 02, 07, 9, 14, 21, 28 & 30 March &, 04 April, PROJECT SUBMISSION BY 11TH MAY 2023. The TTT Programme is designed to offer support to children and adults with learning difficulties, disabilities or more significant needs. Based in Athy, Leixlip and Naas libraries, a specialised collection of toys and assistive equipment can be accessed free of charge in branches throughout the county and can be borrowed or utilised by joining up at any Kildare library. Items in the catalogue can be requested or renewed online and collected by the borrower at their nearest branch library. Pick up a catalogue at any Kildare library.
