While the Covid 19 pandemic is undoubtedly bringing many challenges globally, it is also opening up a ‘new’ world for those living with disabilities.  As society now embraces technology and ‘virtual living’ more than ever before, it means that those who have been marginalised due to disability, illness, mental health difficulties etc, are now able to participate in life in richer, more fulfilling ways than previously.  From socialising with friends and family to virtual tours of museums and art galleries, new virtual living is having a positive impact and may prove to be a powerful tool in finding a new way to live with the reality of life with Covid 19. The future is looking brighter than we would ever have thought possible.
